1. Introduction

Welcome to Seimbang. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Seimbang website at seimbang.my, our mobile applications, and all related telehealth services (collectively, the “Platform”). Seimbang is operated by Seringgit Wellness Sdn Bhd, a company registered in Malaysia.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and we will notify you of material changes via email or through the Platform.

2. Eligibility

To use Seimbang's services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Be a resident of Malaysia or currently located in Malaysia at the time of consultation.
  • Provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and throughout the assessment process.
  • Not have any medical conditions that would make GLP-1 treatment unsafe, as determined by our physicians during the medical screening process.

Seimbang reserves the right to refuse service to any individual who does not meet our eligibility criteria or whose medical profile is deemed unsuitable for GLP-1 treatment by our licensed physicians.

3. Services

Seimbang provides a telehealth platform that connects patients with licensed Malaysian physicians for the purpose of medical weight management. Our services include:

  • Online health assessments and medical consultations via video, phone, or messaging.
  • Prescription of GLP-1 receptor agonist medications where medically appropriate, as determined by your physician.
  • Dispensing of prescribed medications through licensed pharmacy partners.
  • Ongoing medical monitoring, follow-up consultations, and dose adjustments.
  • Nutritional coaching and lifestyle guidance.
  • Access to a personal progress tracking dashboard.

Seimbang is a digital health platform that acts only as an intermediary connecting you with independent medical professionals, licensed pharmacies, and other healthcare institutions. Seimbang does not operate as a clinic or pharmacy and does not directly prescribe, store, or dispense medication. All prescriptions are fulfilled by licensed third-party pharmacy partners in Malaysia. The medical professionals accessible through our Platform are independently licensed practitioners who are solely responsible for the healthcare services they provide to you.

4. Medical Disclaimers

The information provided on the Platform, including blog articles, calculators, and educational content, is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a licensed healthcare professional for medical advice specific to your situation.

All medical consultations conducted through Seimbang are provided by independently licensed physicians registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC). Treatment decisions are made solely by your prescribing physician based on your individual medical profile.

Results from GLP-1 treatment vary by individual. Seimbang does not guarantee specific weight loss outcomes. The efficacy data cited on our Platform is based on published clinical trial results and may not reflect your personal experience.

In the event of a medical emergency, you should call 999 or visit the nearest hospital emergency department immediately. Seimbang is not an emergency medical service.

Telehealth services have inherent limitations compared to in-person consultations. By using our Platform, you acknowledge that these limitations may include: reduced ability to perform physical examinations, potential delays in evaluation and treatment due to technology, possible poor resolution of images or audio during video consultations, incomplete access to your full medical history, and the possibility that electronic security protocols could fail. The telehealth services you receive are not intended to replace your primary care physician.

Prescription weight-loss medications, including GLP-1 receptor agonists, are serious medicines that must only be used responsibly by eligible patients under medical supervision. Our physicians prescribe medications alongside a holistic plan including diet and exercise guidance, in line with local and international clinical guidelines. Not all patients who seek treatment will be eligible for prescription weight-loss medicines.

5. Payment and Billing

Seimbang operates on a monthly subscription basis. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel your subscription.

  • All prices are listed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
  • We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and online banking through our secure payment processor.
  • Your subscription renews automatically each month on the anniversary of your initial payment date.
  • Price changes will be communicated to you at least 30 days in advance, and you may cancel before the new pricing takes effect.

Seimbang is not responsible for any fees charged by your bank or payment provider, including currency conversion fees or overdraft charges.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to the Platform and any remaining medication until the end of your paid period.

Refunds for payments already made are provided at Seimbang's discretion and are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Partial refunds may be issued for unused portions of your subscription if you cancel mid-cycle due to a medical reason supported by your physician.

Medical products, including prescribed medications, cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged once dispensed by our pharmacy partners, in accordance with Malaysian pharmaceutical regulations.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal and medical information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Seringgit Wellness Sdn Bhd, its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Platform or our services. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Seimbang's total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to Seimbang in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Malaysian law.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
